The Magazine

OAKmag is a digital men's lifestyle magazine. Not a blog. Not a content farm. A magazine — with editorial standards, visual ambition, and a voice that refuses to be polite when honesty is more interesting.

We publish monthly issues covering five territories: Style, Machines, Time, Living, and Grooming. Each article is written with the conviction that our readers are intelligent adults who do not need to be told what to buy — but appreciate being told what is worth considering, and why.

We also curate The Listening Room and The Screening Room — monthly explorations of music and cinema, because a well-dressed man with nothing to say about Jobim or Sorrentino is simply a well-dressed man.

Owns a Portuguese Water Dog called Nero who is better company than most humans and all editors. Has opinions about turntables, tailoring, and the correct number of sprays of Dior Fahrenheit (two). Played in an orchestra for years. Will not elaborate.

The Name

The oak is the slowest-growing tree that produces the hardest wood. It cannot be rushed. It does not follow seasons. It simply becomes, over decades, something unbreakable. We thought that was a reasonable aspiration for a magazine.
